Pleasant efficient Receptionist gave me appointment when I requested. I was seen at the allotted time, dealt with professionally and efficiently. Couldn't ask for more.

The reception team are a delight to speak to. They are kind and really listen to what you have to say. This is such a breath of fresh of air compared to other surgeries. The doctors there do their best to help you as well and check up on you if you have an ongoing health issue. Appointments are easy to get if they are an emergency and if it isn’t urgent it is around a 3/4 week wait which is pretty average. Lovely surgery with lovely staff members.

Awful service. Test results are forgotten about which means you have to do all the chasing weeks later! Routine appointments injections are forgotten about, again you have to do their job for them. The general attitude is so unprofessional and uncaring. Be prepared to get sent to the wrong departments as they cannot be bothered to help you! I never normally complain but after 4 times of constant fudge ups it gets beyond a joke. The managers idea of sorting it out is you going for a meeting with all staff to inform them or their errors ... surely thats her job? If you want to go to a doctors where you have to do everyones job that theyre getting paid to do this is your place!

I have had diarrhea for 7 days, so I called the surgery for an emergency appointment & was told that the local Doctor would call me. He never called, the receptionist called & said that there is a prescription for me to collect in the Dover town surgery. I live in Whitfield so my surgery is the Whitfield surgery which was closed by the time they bothered to call back. I have never heard of a Doctor writing a prescription without ever speaking to the patient. I am new to this surgery &I am not impressed at all.

I am disgusted by the service I have received lately from this practice, both from the Whitfield site and the Dover site, and due to this I am changing my surgery. Usually I unable to see a GP who I feel takes the time to listen to what I have to say without rushing me out the door, that is if I am able to get through to the surgery in the first place to make the appointment. On the most recent attempt at 2.35pm in the afternoon, I was on hold for 30 minutes while the "recorded message" helpfully tells me that my call is important and that they are extremely busy. You cannot tell me that it takes 30 minutes to deal with people in the surgery and that they are that short staffed that they leave patients holding on the telephone for that amount of time. DISGUSTING. Good job it wasn't an emergency for one of my children or in fact that I wasn't DYING or anything - only of OLD AGE!
